Rezaei made the assertion during a recent interview on Iranian state television. However, no Pakistani officials have publicly confirmed or commented on any such commitment to use nuclear weapons against Israel.

Despite a brief but tense missile exchange between Iran and Pakistan in early 2024, relations between the two nations have since shown signs of improvement.
‘Pakistan backs Iran, calls for Muslim unity’
Iranian commander Mohsen Rezaei stated that Pakistan has committed to supporting Iran and emphasized the need for solidarity across the Muslim world. He also asserted that Tehran possesses undisclosed capabilities that have yet to be revealed to the international community.
On June 14, during a session of Pakistan’s National Assembly, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif called on Muslim nations to unite in a coordinated response against Israel.
“Israel has targeted Iran, Yemen, and Palestine. If Muslim countries fail to come together now, they risk suffering similar consequences,” he cautioned.
Asif urged Muslim countries maintaining diplomatic ties with Israel to immediately sever those relations and called for the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to convene and formulate a collective strategy in response.
Israel-Iran strikes leave scores dead
On Friday, Israel conducted a series of highly coordinated airstrikes targeting multiple strategic military and nuclear facilities across Iran. The strikes marked a significant escalation in hostilities between the two countries.
In swift retaliation, Tehran launched missile attacks on various Israeli locations, sparking an intense wave of ongoing assaults and counterattacks that have continued to escalate tensions in the region.
Israeli authorities reported that Iranian missile strikes have resulted in at least 13 fatalities and left more than 370 people injured, including both civilians and military personnel. Meanwhile, Iran’s health ministry announced that the Israeli airstrikes have caused at least 128 deaths and nearly 900 injuries, underscoring the heavy human toll on both sides since the conflict began.
This latest round of violence highlights the deepening animosity and the dangerous potential for further escalation between the two regional powers.
