Renowned actress Shefali Jariwala, celebrated as the sensational “Kaanta Laga girl” from the iconic early 2000s music video and a beloved contestant on the reality show Bigg Boss 13, met a heartbreaking end at the age of 42 after suffering a sudden and fatal cardiac arrest on Friday night.
In a desperate bid to save her, her distraught husband, Parag Tyagi, accompanied by three others, hurriedly transported her to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital in Andheri, Mumbai, but medical staff tragically pronounced her dead upon arrival, as confirmed by hospital reception personnel in a report by the Times of India.
Following this devastating loss, her body was transferred to Cooper Hospital, where a post-mortem examination is being conducted to shed light on the precise circumstances surrounding her untimely and shocking demise, leaving fans and the entertainment industry in profound grief.
In a post by journalist Vickey Lalwani, it was confirmed that Shefali Jariwala was brought deceased to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital (opposite Star Bazaar, Andheri) approximately 45 minutes before the post.
Her husband, Parag Tyagi, along with three others, urgently brought her to the facility. The hospital’s reception staff verified, stating, Shefali was already deceased upon arrival, accompanied by her husband and a few others.
When further inquiries were made, the Resident Medical Officer redirected questions to Dr. Vijay Lulla, the cardiologist, for additional details.
Actress Divyanka Tripathi shared her profound grief and disbelief over the sudden death of Shefali Jariwala. In a heartfelt post on the social media platform X, she wrote, “I’m still reeling from the news of Shefali’s passing. Taken far too soon. My heart aches for her husband and family. 🙏”
